By using the Hat Movers & Helpers website or booking our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Our Services
Hat Movers & Helpers provides moving and moving-help services, including residential, commercial, packing, loading, unloading, storage, specialty, and U-Haul moving assistance.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer. The final price may change if the moving requirements, quantity of items, access conditions, or requested services change.
3. Customer Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information about their moving locations, belongings, access conditions, and service requirements.
4. Moving Access
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to pickup and delivery locations. Additional time or charges may apply for stairs, long carries, elevators, difficult access, waiting time, or other unexpected conditions.
5. Valuable & Fragile Items
Customers should inform us about fragile, valuable, oversized, or specialty items before the move. Important personal documents, cash, jewelry, medications, and irreplaceable items should remain with the customer.
6. Restricted Items
We may refuse to transport hazardous, illegal, explosive, flammable, or otherwise unsafe items.
7. Booking & Scheduling
A service request is not considered confirmed until Hat Movers & Helpers confirms the booking. Customers should contact us as soon as possible regarding any changes.
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellation or rescheduling may be subject to applicable charges or conditions communicated at the time of booking.
9. Delays
Moving schedules may be affected by weather, traffic, road conditions, vehicle issues, building access, customer delays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
10. U-Haul Services
For U-Haul moving-help services, customers remain responsible for their U-Haul rental agreement, vehicle, fuel, insurance, and driving responsibilities unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. Website & Third-Party Links
Website information is provided for general purposes and may change without notice. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or policies of third-party websites linked from our website.
12. Governing Law & Contact
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of Alberta, Canada. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
